the grid
In a very interesting turn of events, I was approached by a well known motion graphics studio to participate in the creation of a new operating system for a small tech company looking to make a name for themselves. Consisting of motion graphics designers, animators, UI developers, and a group of remote programmers, our team was tasked to build an operating system which would look, feel, and function differently from the market leaders such as IOS and Android.
While widely applauded for a slew of innovative ideas pioneered by our team, the project ultimately garnered lukewarm reviews due mainly to poor implementation and hardware flaws. While incredibly challenging, unfamiliar, and at times frustrating, this project was truly rewarding and despite its reception, an experience for which I am both oddly proud and grateful.
